Farm-to-Table Breakfast at the B&B

From the moment you check into your room, you’ll be greeted with Sarah’s homemade chocolate chip cookies. The cookies are just the beginning of the tasty food that you will have during your stay at the Inn at the Canal. The Inn also provides afternoon snacks that include delicious brownies. 

After you have enjoyed your baked treat, be ready to dig into a true farm-to-table breakfast. Our coffee beans are roasted just twenty minutes away from the Inn at the Canal by our partners, Chesapeake Bay Coffee Company. Our quiches are made with local eggs and vegetables. Our French toast bakes get filled with native berries and fruit whenever they are available. Our sausage, bacon and scrapple are all prepared regionally. All of these ingredients are sourced from Detwiler’s Farm Market located fewer than three miles away from the Inn at the Canal. Breakfast always includes a homemade sweet treat. One of our guests’ favorite is the gooey cinnamon rolls made from scratch by co-owner and baker, Sarah O’Hara.
